No white shoes after Labor Day? Nobody follows that rule anymore and I certainly don’t follow any rules when it comes to bags it’s all about what my heart desires. And right now, my heart is stark-raving mad for stark-white bags.
There is no off, warm, or even ivory in these descriptions, so keep your hands clean and these babies of the floor! High-maintenance has never been so cool and refreshing the care is worth the satisfaction of a powerfully crisp bag.
1) Yves Saint Laurent Large White Neo Tote: Pebbled texture lends depth to this sharp tote; bold whipstitching lends interest to their trademark Y. On Ssense for $1,495.
2) Givenchy White Medium Antigona Duffle Bag: Givenchys quintessential duffle takes on a whole new meaning when its in bright white. Gold hardware just enhances the effect. On Ssense for $2,085.
3) MM6 Maison Martin Margiela White Reversible Tote: White cotton or white leather? If one side starts to look dingy, you can switch it over in between cleanings and start fresh. On Ssense for $515.
4) Nancy Gonzalez Braid-Strap Python Tote: Pearlized python is gorgeous enough, but add a chunky braided strap and this tote is now over the edge of desirability. At Bergdorf Goodman for $3,050.
5) Bottega Veneta Plume Tote: Bottega switches it up by keeping the weave to a minimum and letting solid white leather own the spotlight. At Barneys New York for $2,400.

Manolo says, here is the Manolo’s latest column for the Express of the Washington Post.

Dear Manolo,
Valentines Day is next week, and my dreamy new boyfriend has promised me a romantic night out, with dinner and possibly dancing. Im wearing a David Meister red silk dress thats sexy-sophisticated. Now, I need some shoes. What do you suggest?
Stephanie

Manolo says, ayyyy! The Dia de San Valentin, it is upon us, like the wild hyena of romance and expectation!
Woe be to the dreamy new man who does not deliver the goods! Goods which might best be described as the sort of Chinese take-out menu of romantic items. (Please select any two from column A: Dinner at the Expensive Restaurant; French Perfume; Belgian Chocolate; Red Roses; Original Lyric Poetry; Heartfelt Expressions of Undying Love.)
Of the course, the Day of Valentines is not the walking in the park for the young womens either. They must spend literally days in preparation, thinking about the hair and the outfit and the shoes, having extended style consultations with their gay friends, and mulling over, at exhaustive length, the romantic dynamics of their relationship.
At this early stage of the romance, all of these details are so very important. Later, after our couple has been married the dozen years or so, all that will really matter is finding the competent babysitter to watch the kids while you enjoy the heart-shaped dessert at the Factory of the Cheesecakes.
Look! Here is the Consort metallic leather asymmetrical platform sandals from the B Brian Atwood. Bold! Sexy! Sophisticated!

Meet Alexander McQueens latest sensation: the Reversible Skull clutch. Aside from the obvious reasons to love this bag (sophisticated skins juxtaposed against McQueen’s bad-ass skull, all neatly strapped in with polished hardware), it is also reversible! At long last, two McQueens for the price of one!
Im loving their new sense of approachable elegance this is a softer, more wear-able route than the awe-inducing knuckle-dusters. Happily, the hardcore, Swarovski-encrusted skull is still here; hes just a little more relaxed now. Ocelot-printed pony-hair converts into military-green canvas, and spotted karung snakeskin becomes crisp white canvas. Two options, four bags: this is the kind of quandary I could get used to!
Ocelot, $1,945, and Karung, $2070, coming soon to Alexander McQueen.com.
Pair with: Play the part of the rock n roller with Chlos enduring studded ankle boots. With an allover design of gold accents and buckles, these are hard-edged glamour at its most nonchalant. On Net-a-Porter for $1,290.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas and that even goes for Chanel bags! Exclusive to their Las Vegas boutique, behold: the Swarovski-encrusted flap bag, available in pink, blue, and gray. This blinged-out sensation would be such a great souvenir to take home from my whirlwind weekend trip (I havent stayed up this late in years!) it doesnt get much more Sin City than this. This bag glitters more brightly than the strip at midnight.
My only problem is the very sinful price tag of $18,200. Other than that minor issue, it was love at first sight. Or maybe lust at first sight would be more appropriate. I thought crystals were a dime a dozen now theyre more expensive than exotic?!?! Im tempted to go hit the black jack tables and try my luck, but even if I did win big, for 18-grand, I have other plans.

Kylie Bisutti said goodbye to the mark fashion U.S. Victoria’s Secret and in the future to pose wearing only bra and panties. Enough parades, Just photo, Just shots that show off his physique is perfect, which can now be admired in all its glory only by hubby. Why? Her religion prevents her from continuing to do the work that made it famous around the world. And she, remaining faithful to his doctrine, he decided to abandon his glittering career.

My body can only see my husband’: In its statement Kylie Bisutti, now ex- Angel of the American lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret Said goodbye to his work. The 21 year old Italian-American model, in fact, in 2009 he participated in the shooting of catalog brand, beating off competition in a choice agguerritissima. Since then many brands that have courted. And who will have to resign themselves to no longer be able to call to march.

After many years of photographs in lingerie and in swimsuit, where we showed her breathtaking body, the young man has rediscovered his religion and became a militant Christian. That never will march with any underwear: ‘Victoria’s Secret was my main goal. But my religion prevents me from becoming a model for other young Christians. Should not think that is normal to model and pose half naked.

In this way Kylie Bisutti not want to follow only the dictates of his religion, but also keep sacred, and standing, his marriage, because, as pointed out by herself, divorce rates are too high. She will continue to be a model, but only with their clothes on. Lucky for her husband who has this privilege!

Top 5 Summer Totes: Like, Tote-ally!

Youll find good use for a tote any time of year, but its the summer when the style really comes into play. Leisurely activities plus, a more leisurely attitude to go along with them makes the tote a bona fide staple, whether youre enjoying the beach, traveling the world, or alas, commuting to the office. Here are my top picks for lounging and living it up.
1) Marni Edition Laser-Cut Leather Tote: Not strictly for the shores, this pretty peek-a-boo tote transitions into the city just fine, for a look of earthy air. On MyTheresa for $725.
2) Vanessa Bruno Sequined Cotton-Canvas Tote: Practical but not too practical. A little glitter is always in order, especially when its jazzing up the simplest of khaki canvases. On Net-a-Porter for $260.
3) MICHAEL Michael Kors Jet Set Leather and Rubber Tote: Don’t drown yourself in soggy swimwear, and, dear god, don’t use a plastic grocery bag to handle your dripping mess. This neon-green waterproof tote is your answer. On Net-a-Porter for $170.
4) Jimmy Choo Capri Small Glitter Straw Tote: For beachside, countryside or street-side, this is the only summer tote you’ll need. Straw and white leather keeps the mood light, and the structure keeps it smart. On Net-a-Porter for $895.
5) Valentino Rockstud Straw Tote: Sure, you wouldn’t take this treasure to the beach. For those who don’t do sand, surf, or pool but still want the airy look, look no further. At Bergdorf Goodman for $1,845.

Miu Miu, the quirky little sister of Prada, is not suffering the Jan Brady complex. Its not exclaiming, Prada, Prada, Prada! Quite the contrary Miu Miu is becoming the star of the family.
Especially now that they are releasing a limited-edition line of Fashion Week bags. The hard (and deliberately offbeat) structure is similar to Pradas, though its also the same one that semi-shocked us at Miu Mius Spring 2012 show. This isnt the usual casual slouch we see from Miu Miu. The little sister is all grown up.
But dont think shes not still flaunting a rebellious side. The hardware is high on flair; contrasting patterns and mixed materials, like glitter and python (appliqud with a wildly Western influence) and chunky gemstones, set off the top-handle shapes. This is refinement at its most youthful I have a feeling Prada might be getting jealous.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bag. A rainbow of citrus fade is a strong statement for Ferragamo, I know, but it was due time they delve deep into their glamorous past. Here is a total seventies vibe bag that is lust-worthy.
Salvatore Ferragamo calls the shade of this bag multirosso, but I call it awesome. This unique sunburst is the perfect bright for the summer. Theyve managed to pay homage to another era without putting their clutch in a vintage costume. With beautiful stitching and subtle touches of silver, its cute and slender for evenings. Toss it on as a skinny-strapped shoulder bag or detach the strap for a classic clutch.
This is a bag that will stand out in any decade, something you’ll be proud to own in 20 years (when it will actually be vintage!). On My Theresa for $1,265.

For the Frugal Snob: Consider Marc by Marc Jacob‘s elongated velvet option. Its not as bright, but still has a definite 1970′s feel. At a tiny fraction of the Ferragamo cost, I couldn’t resist I bought it on the spot. On 6pm.com for $209.99 (from $278).
Pair with: A shoe thats nude, retro, and sky-high. Giuseppe Zanottis leather and cork platforms have it all without putting you in a time warp. On Net-a-Porter for $695.

Gorgeous shimmering metallic gold says, I love you just as well as any shade of red. When its by Chanel, you know its true love! Their Valentines Day 2012 collection is purely iconic awash in pure, dreamy shades of metal and blush.
Petite pieces ideal for gift-giving and receiving like textural, python-effect taupe pochettes; an iridescent gold quilted clutch that crumples in the fashion of a chic lunch bag; a pearly cosmetic case; floral-stitched key holder; and iPad case are all more practical and neutral than many of Chanels recent launches. These are wearable clutches and cases too classic to grow tired and so pale and pretty they will float right into spring. Inquire at Chanel.
Pair with: Amp up your pochette with ornate jewels from the same collection! Pearlized gold, clusters of pearls and the quintessential chain all come together in definitive Chanel fashion: opulence thats somehow light as air and heavy on joie de vivre.

Oh, I do love my ostrich. Theres something about that grainy, spotty, bumpy yet luxurious texture that really gets me going. When skin already has so much going on, Yves Saint Laurent knows you have to keep the shape simple.
They smartly opted for just a hint of pull-it-all-together detail: a strap that goes from the bottom up, for a twist on a classic style. Dont worry the strap is stitched in, so it wont be flopping around haphazardly. It gains even more polish with a structured top-handle, standing at attention with strong metal hardware at the base.
Im not usually one to flip for a brown bag, but you cannot deny the timelessness of this ber-ladylike treasure. On sale, its a handbag to last a lifetime at a price that wont take you that long to pay it off. On My Theresa for $5,245 (from $7,749).

Designer Planet
Here’s another sighting wonderfully for you fashion from the set of Gossip Girl 5. Leighton Meester in the role of Blair Waldorf The Queen B. that seems to have stolen the limelight from the character of Blake Lively at least in this last series of teen drama, is back in the dressing fashion sophisticated Oscar de la Renta. The beautiful Leighton Meester was photographed hand in hand with Penn Badgley, The actor who plays the character of Dan Humphrey, a beautiful evening dress American fashion brand with pink fluffy skirt and princely. I almost do not know if I like best about this model or Vera Wang’s wedding dress worn at all times on the set of the show are really beautiful!
Leighton Meester as very often the fashion of Oscar de la Renta on the set Gossip Girl and all the gowns worn by the actress were really beautiful, elegant and truly worthy of elegance and style the writers of Gossip Girl have donated to his character.
On Monday, Leighton Meester was photographed in New York on the set of Gossip Girl, while wearing the beautiful gown you see in the picture above. To protect from the cold, the actress wore a blazer white fluffy which hid the upper part of the dress, a corsage fitting strapless. A real princess dress that is part of the collection Resort 2012 Perfect for Blair in short, that Meester wore along with a tiara through her long hair.
